01Small steps, noticeable impact
The biggest gain rarely lies in one big AI project, but in many small tasks.
Many companies are waiting for the big AI solution. Yet the quickest benefit lies in everyday work: in tasks that come back every week, take a lot of time and bring little joy.
The following five examples can be put into practice right away with common tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
02Five tasks to start with
- 01
Emails and quotes
Create drafts from keywords and refine them in your own tone.
- 02
Minutes
Turn notes or recordings into structured summaries with action items.
- 03
Texts for website and social media
Ideas, variants and revisions in minutes instead of hours.
- 04
Translations
Quick first drafts for customers and partners, proofread by a person.
- 05
Spreadsheets and analysis
Summarise data, have formulas explained, spot anomalies.
03What to watch out for
AI writes convincingly – even when something isn’t right.
AI tools deliver fast results, but no guarantee. That’s why:
- always check results, especially figures, names and legal statements
- don’t enter personal or confidential data into free tools
- companies should use business versions with a data processing agreement
- agree as a team which tools may be used for what
Since February 2025, the EU AI Act has also required employees who use AI to be sufficiently trained.
04How to start as a team
Teams that try AI together find the best use cases themselves.
- 01
Collect tasks
Which activities take the most time every week?
- 02
Start small
Pick one or two tasks and test them for four weeks.
- 03
Write down rules
Briefly clarify tools, data protection and review steps in writing.
- 04
Train
In a workshop, everyone learns to write good instructions and check results.
